DJ edROC: Sunday FUNday pt. I

Originally FUNday started as a way for us amateur photographers to practice, enhance, and brush up our photo taking abilities, but eventually it grew into a weekly event. Basically, every Sunday a group of us get together to explore and find new fun things to do. It's an excuse for us to get together, try new things, and have good times.

The original plan was to take the Coaster up to Solana Beach. The online price stated that the trip would be $14 round trip. But it ended up being $28 round trip, which would have equalled $140 for all 5 of us! FAIL! A full tank of gas is roughly $30, so we opted to just pack Klev's car and drive up. Not the adventure we had planned, but fun regardless.

Before we realized how much the Coaster ride was actually going to be, we had time to kill before the train left so we hung around the harbor area downtown.

After we finally realized the FAILURE of our Coaster plan, we drove up and stopped at Cardiff by the Sea. Here are some action shots of us wannabes. Klev needs to step his camera game up. haha

We built up a hearty appetite after taking about 300 shots so we stopped at Pizza Port for dinner. The San Francisco, the Carlsbad, and some Beer Buddies. Delicious!
