Since my beloved Chargers didn't make it once again to the big show, the only thing i'm looking forward to come February 1st are the commercials. Super Bowl commercials are by far the funniest and most entertaining. Spike TV rated the top 10 Super Bowl commercials of all time, and I must agree with their #1 pick. The commercial was from Super bowl XXXVII, which coincidentally was here in SD, where the Tampa Bay Bucs defeated those wack ass Raiders. Do you remember this commercial?
"You know you can't bring that weak ass stuff up in this humpty bumpty!" haha
BTW: I'm having a Super Bowl BBQ, hit me up if you wanna cruise through.

Future ABDC Competitors
Move over hip-hop, break dancing, crumpin, cloggin, and pop-lockin. It's all about Eyebrow dancing now. What do you think JC, Lil' Mama, and Shane will have to say about them?
Vinyl
Sunday, my good buddy Jay (aka Jay Dread) of 5&A Dime needed help moving. I got there a little late, but was just in time to still help move some heavy things. The whole moving process wasn't too difficult, but the thing that took the longest to move was Jay's vinyl collection. His collection was pretty impressive. It was so HUGE that it took up the whole bed of a Tacoma. CRAZY! I remember my vinyl collection was about 3/4's of Jay's (give or take a few). Damn that bastard that jacked my shit!!! But I digress, Jay's been spinnin' for a long time, his collection was actually bigger. He just kept the ones that he liked. Lots of rare gems in his collection. Like all his original mint condition X-Clan stuff.

Catching Up
Finally, with this huge post I am all caught up with my blogging. I've honestly been trying to keep up with this bitch, but alas work, school, DJ'ing, snowboarding, sleeping, and other random shit has had me far behind on all this crap. Anywho.... the week of January 12th-18th was an extremely busy week for me. It was Christine's birthday, my co-workers birthday's, restaurant week, a friend's (Allyn) birthday, and so on and so forth. I ate out 6 of the 7 days that week. Crazy!

Fancy water, or Vodka?
I drank a couple Stone IPA's, and even though we had just ate a shit load of fish at Harney's, Donnell still ordered some fries and pita w/ hummus. The martini pictured is Bondi's Bond Diego.
After Bondi's, we hit up Nicky Rottens for cheese fries, and more drinks.
Sunday: Jan. 18th
Klev, Judy, Christine, and myself hit up The Mission in North Park for brunch. Here is my Steak Quesadilla.
Afterwards we hit up the movies and caught Notorious. It was actually a very good movie. Just watch it, we all already know the story, but it's pretty cool to see Biggies side to the whole east coast west coast war.
And so ends my extremely fat week that emptied out my wallet. But it was all worth it. I can't wait for Restaurant Week in June.

Acapella
I remember back in the day, when Eddie Love rocked the night time airwaves, and male singing groups weren't known as boy bands, there lived this style of singing called acapella. Acapellas were the shit. All the dope slow jam/R&B artists like Boyz II Men, Shai, and my personal favorite Jodeci, would have at least one acapella song on their albums. You don't hear shit like that anymore. Slow jams aren't the same. Anywho, the other day at work one of my employees told me about this dude, Daiyel, who is basically a one man boy band singing some dope songs in acapella. Check him out.

Taco Tuesday Birthday Parlay
On the 13th we celebrated Christine's 28th birthday. Since it fell on a Tuesday, we celebrated it at El Torito for Taco Tuesday. Thanks to Judy and Klev for reserving the big table for us. They have some clout there because they pretty much go every single Tuesday.
Elaina tried a whole bunch of different flavored margaritas. Here she is with her Mango Margarita, blended.
Cake time! I don't know why we didn't get the special song in spanish like the other birthday's did. Maybe it's because only one of us was of spanish descent.
